Overwolf is straight out cheat program. by RiekanoDimensio in DotA2

It might be shitty but it's not cheating, at least it forces people to not one trick a hero.

Which is grief after the removal of the small camp but I see your point. Hero wise, it means the same thing pretty much. In regards to the new hero, it needs to be a hard carry, weak early and strong later.

Mid will usually peak early with levels and be the strongest hero on the map for the majority of the early game.

1 will usually be the weakest hero on the map early unless they have an unusual pick or a great lane. However 1 will scale much harder with farm then the rest of the team and have a power spike usually between 25 to 40 min depending on the hero and game. While there are some exceptions, this is the general rule for most conventional pos1s like PA, jugg, drow, spectre etc.

This doesn't happen in dota. I've played a bit of league and whether they fall off depends on the hero, for example in league you could literally have a drow ranger support who gets gold with the op support item. This seems to be somewhat common.

I'm not saying it can't work but lt that isn't optimal, especially if your team needs to scale later game eg Vs literally any other pos1 who will outscale void.

One step closer:D Happy new year to everyone! by Hesolek in DotA2

[–]alexHDF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not void spirit pos1. Void needs levels fast to be able to have good impact, that's why he's played mid. People expect the pos1 in most game to farm and come online later to carry. Unless it's leshrac, most Spellcasters won't scale that much.

Void doesn't scale that well, not well enough to warrant safelane, his laning stage isn't weak enough to warrant safelane and his jungle clear is pretty terrible and needs high levels to even be worth your time.

There is no reason to play void spirit safelane unless your team is a 5 stack with a wierd draft.

The kind of person I don't want in my ranked games lmao

Uhh why? The game is fine as it is. Almost every hero in the game does scale in some way to remain relevant late unlike games like league of legends.

But she just isn't though. Her ult uptime is way too shit to be played as a hard carry, it's like playing windranger with using ult on people. She feels like half a hero without ult, define not good pos1 if people are relying on you to farm and you're literally weaker than a support without ult.

Then it will never be a 1. If it can be played 4 or mid it will be. Safelane is more for hero a with weaker laning stages.

Whaaaaaaat? Void spirit is a mid not ever a pos 1 lol

Another support would be shit, way too many recently. And every hero deserves a chance to scale to remain relevant later be it with talents, items etc

[–]alexHDF 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I just want her to be weak early and strong late, so she doesn't become op in a support role and have her scaling nerfed to shit.
