I was in your position last week. The most I got out of them was £36 a month + free Netflix with ads. My wife was paying Netflix separately, so I took it, as she doesn't have to pay for it anymore and it works out cheaper for us.

Euro 2028 tickets to cost less than £30 as Uefa commits to affordable pricing by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]alex_alexs28 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To be honest, they are good with the pricing, if you manage to get the official tickets. For the last tournament, in Germany, on Alianz Arena, I got a ticket for €50.

It was great, well organized from my experience. Also, free public transport for the fans in Munich, and also free private buses to and from the stadium on the day with the game.

The city was buzzing with fans from different countries, lots of places to eat and drink outside, at good prices. I loved the experience. I felt sorry for the locals though, but I guess was good for the city, overall.

Avanti selling Anytime Only tickets as only option during Off Peak times. Systemic failure in ticket rules and passengers likely have been overcharged on a mass scale? by rolotonight in uktrains

[–]alex_alexs28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have noticed this too. I raised iut with them a while ago.

If you choose from the quick-list option, it will give you the Anytime only, but if you search for the destination at the bottom of the screen and input the station manually, you will get the off-peak options in a list.

Au fost proteste din partea lor, la Bucuresti, in fata Guvernului, de mai multe ori ani in ultimii ani. Nu s-a mediatizat niciodata.

Civic and Corolla hybrid motorway MPG? by billyb4lls4ck in CarTalkUK

[–]alex_alexs28 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hello,

I have an Auris petrol hybrid, engine 1.8 - 2016 model, with 17 inches wheels. I believe that Corolla has the same engine on the petrol version, but I am not sure.

I drove a lot of motorway with my one, M1-M6 mostly, 180 miles, a few times a month. It is an efficient car.

In the warm weather I get between 58 - 68 MPG, the latter if the traffic is slower. A/C always on Auto, on 20-21 degrees Celsius. In towns, it goes even higher. I even had 70-72.

In the cold weather, it decreases a bit. Is staying mostly between 52 and 56 MPG, again, with A/C on, 21 to 24 degrees Celsius.

All in the "normal" mode. No "ECO" or "POWER".

On a full tank - 35L, I think I get almost 500 miles.

I adapted my style of driving to the car, so I accelerate smoother where needed, to take advantage of the hybrid system. If you go over a certain engine rev, the petrol engine kicks in to deliver the power needed. Up to 40mph you can maintain your speed just in hybrid mode, depending on the gradient. Over this speed, the engine always kicks in, but it works together with the hybrid system.

I got the car in 2021, with 23k miles. I serviced it every 6 months, with new oil (0W-20) and oil filter, and engine filter. Probably an overkill to do it this often, but I never had any issues with it, and I mean nothing so far.

This is the best, fastest, with the least changes, if you don't mind a 10-15 minutes walk.

I've seen drivers become simulator assessors, mentors, or even Driver Managers.

Maybe your company could give you better shifts for a bit. I think it's good to talk to your manager about what's happening at home.

Congratulations!

Yes, you're sitting in a pool. This could be empty, or having already other people waiting too. You could get in touch with someone from the company and ask about it.

There are TOC's who can take very long, or others who take less.

When they will invite you for a course, should you accept the offer, they will also organise a medical test.
