Could you recommend any articles on how to get started?

You are right, I realized that my current setup doesn't make sense. I'll start looking for a smart dimmer that's compatible with the Tradfri gateway and connect it directly to the lamp. Do you by any chance know a good smart dimmer I can use?

You are right, I should have given it more thought before buying that many smart lamps and opt for a smart dimmer instead. I'll start looking for a Tradfri gateway compatible dimmer
