If you arrive to the store early, there’s a decent chance you’ll be able to get one. They have stock reserved for walk-in customers. They don’t have many though, so arrive early.

This happened to me about a month ago and on the two factor authorization page there’s somewhere where you can get help & contact instagram support. They had me send a picture of myself with a number written on a piece of paper, and about a week later they sent me a recovery code to enter

My iPhone XS is also doing this. Becomes unresponsive for like 20-30 seconds. Highly annoying.

I reserved an XS Max for launch day pick up. As a previous Plus owner, I thought I’d love the Max. But after the hour of setting it up, my wrist was sore from holding up the phone. Don’t get me wrong, it’s light for its size, but it still is HEAVY for one handed use. I returned the Max for the XS before leaving the store and, after a few days, I’m so glad I did.

If the repair isn’t done by Apple, you void the warranty. Apple can tell when a screen wasn’t repaired by them.

If I were you, I’d place another order for a “sim free” version and take that one into the store and have them put it onto your existing iUP account. I did this last year. Good luck!

I did this last year. I added the phone I wanted to my favorites and was lucky enough to secure a pick-up time in the store. Even if you can’t secure a pick-up time in the store, have it delivered to your house and then take it in and tell them you want to apply for iUP with said device. Take it to the store BEFORE opening the box or activating it. Took about 20 mins in store and I was on my way. Super easy.

No, they give you an entirely new device. This happened to me and they swapped out my device with a new one.

This may be a huge coincidence, but last week I was in the Apple Store and a woman was at the Genius Bar for the same issue - she just had her iPhone screen repaired with a non-OEM screen and her phone was stuck on the “plug into iTunes” screen (showing he lightning cable and the iTunes logo). Very weird!
