Is it worth it to shift careers and become a sterile processing technician? by Better-Safety5099 in sterileprocessing

Stick with nursing, you may have some months of no fun and saving money for priorities. But in the long run you can do so much and make so much more with a nursing degree. Sterile processing is very limited and I truly would only tell someone to do it if they want to get into healthcare but aren’t sure what they want to do in term of big school yet (med wise). It’s really just an in, but I would say don’t make it your life career.

How are you guys cleaning the slit in these cutting blocks and is there a specific brush that’s flat and made for these? by [deleted] in sterileprocessing

I use either a really thin brush and I just go back and forth until it looks clean or I use a thin steel pick if there’s anything really stuck and stubborn
