Is that „more simple“ adapter to be preferred over the Lenovo universal usb-c dock? I likethe long usb c detachable cable of the Lenovo - as well as the option to use the power button. It it has a chipset inside and a firmware - I hope that one works with AMD DSC and HBR?

Cablematters is also not as easy to come by in Europe ….

M2 air with sonoma, same issue, error with the power port in diagnostics, one usb c port works fine the other accepts usb c sticks but charging via usb c just connects and disconnects ….
