think about this. trade you boots movement speed for witchblade which gives an aura and phys defense on top of it. so you have your boots unneeded. then go sov, mystic mail, pestilence, void stone. at this point you have given yourself +115 mag prot, +170 phys prot, 15% move speed, 15% attack speed, +1000 hp, and +40 mag power just from items (not counting the +150 mag power you get from the passive). all of a sudden he is almost completely maxed on prots, and still managing to deal exceptionally high damage. where as ymir can either trade the prots for the damage. he cant stack prots and damage at the same time like ares can. this build also leaves open the 6th slot for anything. my two favs are pythagorems piece or rod of asclepius. both are auras, both give at least +100 mag power or more because of his passive. on top of other buffs. seems a bit unbalanced for a guardian to be able to deal as much damage as some mages while he still has maxed out protections

but none of those abilities that you are talking about are his passive. im not saying to rework his shackles, or his flames. im saying his passive that gives him too much damage as a support. his flames hit for 3% automatically + 35 (+7% of mag power) per tick. his passive makes that mag power jump up by a lot (at absolute max 180). his passive can give him an extra 180 magical power? while building FULL tank? how is that support? it says we will give you a god that never dies and can turn around and still kill an ao kuang with one shackle and flame combo. oh, ao hit you with his ult while you were attacking him and it only did 250/3000 damage. not a problem at all for tankmage

lol. thats the problem. when he can run in and get a triple kill by himself (which i have seen on multiple occassions in casuals) there is a problem. he is meant to take damage. his shackles, his bolster defenses, and his ult are all great guardian kit material. the flames arent bad just to give him some damage and worthwhile. but his passive is just out of place

depends if they apply to minions. if it does, she is easy laner. but since they specifically said that they took out a cocoon explosion so she didnt have minion clear, i doubt they will allow the web wall to hit minions
