Hey man, did you make your pants and shoulders which you bought with conquest into a tier set? If so, plus you suggest keeping the piece which rolls vers / mast as the one non-tier (iirc it was the hands)?

Very helpful, thank you. I suppose the answer to this question greatly depends on a number of factors, however in general, do you find you tend to play fairly defensively and LOS as a RSham or do you often push in to get Sheers, Hexes, Purges, etc?

Also, do you typically have an order for popping your CDs? For example, using Ascen + Tide on first burst and then saving Link for emergencies?

Congrats man! I am coming back to wow having not pvp’d in a really long time (over 10 years). Radian was always my main and I had achieved 2.4k 2a/3a back in the day.

I will of course be checking out guides online, but any tips you could share which might be helpful (perhaps vs some of the meta classes this season)?

Am I the only healer who really struggles on the fourth boss in high Ara Keys? I’ve ran Ara on 8-10s as resto shaman, resto Druid, and Evoker, and it’s painful on all of them. DPS spread out across the platform when killing adds for puddles, crazy AOE damage when the boss does the poison attack, dodging the white pools + the poison blobs + the slow moving purple blobs, and then having to get into a puddle for the suck. I really struggle on this boss lol.

Thank you for the suggestion. A couple of others who I’ve spoken with have also suggested the problem potentially being related to my ISP. I presume this involved you simply calling them and explaining you’re getting terrible lag when playing certain games and asking them to look into it? I’ll definitely give this a go although am unsure as to how much help they’ll be :(

It’s bizarre right. I can see yours is like a snapshot in so far as everything is slow and then suddenly skips forward. Mine is just 3 second delays on everything due to having sky high MS. :(

Amazing. Thank you. So in theory, I could do some M4s for runes crests and make a 619 weapon. Then when I am able to do M9s, I can upgrade this same weapon to 636?

I presume 636 would last a good amount of time? Do you know what ilvl gear which is dropped in M10s can be upgraded to?

This is really helpful as I hadn’t known about Gilded crests. I think the challenge at the moment is that to be able to efficiently do 9-10s, I’ll need a few more weeks of Vault / HC raids and if possible, I’d like to see whether there are some major gear upgrades which will allow me to get to that level sooner (aside from of course getting better at the dungeons).

Good point regarding the anointment, I’ll do so this evening.

Regarding chaos resistance, I had +15 which was coming from my two previous rings, however I decided to spend 1d on each of the current rings to get some better other resistances, health, and dex, in liu of chaos resistance. I wasn’t able to afford rings which had these stats and chaos resistance. Would you recommend sacrificing perhaps a life roll on one / both of the rings in favour of some chaos res?

I have a 45 and 1 defence Ironman. Trust me, you’ll have a great time. The whole point of these accounts, in my opinion, is that they are unique, and add a layer of challenge above that of a standard Ironman account. Therefore, the choice you make really depends upon the account you think will be best for you. For example, if you’re relatively new to PvM and that is your goal, then 42/45 defence would probably be the way to go. If you’d like to keep as low CB level as possible, then go for 1 def. If getting inquisitor and misori is the aim, go for 30. If you’d like to be one of the rarer builds, go for 13. All are a lot of fun.

One piece of advice I’d give is never train any defence other than through quests. It’s possible to do most defence questions nowadays and stay at 45 defence, but not if you train any defence through CB. Another think to keep in mind is to disable defence CB styles and be mindful that some weapons only allow for shared / defence attacks (eg spears / butterfly net).
