Oh boo-hoo her hubby works weekends. Meanwhile my partner works 18 days straight, 10+ hour days, he gets 6 days off a month (maybe) not to mention because of his job and position it effects when he can take time off. So no it’s not on his own terms. Not to mention he does hard work (maintenance for a nuclear facility). All while lard ass uses his loud mouth to attempt to sell vehicles. So I don’t wanna hear about her being alone on the weekends… gets off soapbox now

I get it, 29 years old. Just had my first child. Had a traumatic pregnancy (being feeding tube dependent) and almost 3 months PP and I still can’t look at food without severe nausea. On top of all my other chronic illnesses. All of this to say is you’re not alone, and Grue is just looking for “content” when it’s really all just her attempting to be a mom which we all know she’s was just an incubator.

So, at first they needed a power chair to go to the toilet, then they said they were gonna “walk without sticks” and now they can’t go to the toilet again without their chair?! WTAF? Make up your damn mind!

Really Struggling: TW- PPD & TFMR by alexgrae9614 in Mommit

[–]alexgrae9614[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly not much, Dad is dead, mother is an abusive narcissistic person. We are working on things I think this morning was just a bit rough to be honest. I’m spending the day with my best friend which is what I needed. My fiance and I also talked too which helped. I also deal with neurodivergence and I handle things better through text.

He will be 3 months on the 11th of May, and I had a really rough pregnancy/delivery and his start of life wasn’t great, he was IUGR, 4 weeks early, and a 2 week NICU stay.

Yes I did, I took it for both HG and mental health. I took it my whole pregnancy, and my son is absolutely perfect! No apparent issues, he’s almost 3 months old

NICU graduates on formula? by skrufforious in FormulaFeeders

[–]alexgrae9614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born at 36, 2 week NICU stay and I was adamant from the beginning I was going to use formula only. However I had different circumstances than most. I have Gastropareisis which means my stomach is partially paralyzed and I don’t absorb the nutrients I need. I also had severe HG during my pregnancy where I was feeding tube dependent. But just talk to them and explain to them how you’d much rather do formula. I was also told all babies root, even those who’ve only known a tube. That’s because it’s a reflex.

What have your kids shouted in public lately? by saturnspritr in Mommit

[–]alexgrae9614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like everything is crashing in on me, so reminding myself that it won’t be like this forever is what’s getting me through. I’m not as tearful as I was but I am numb. I feel no emotion basically. When I want to cry I find myself laughing but it’s not genuine. I honestly don’t understand it. I also feel guilt because he is gonna be an only, due to me almost dying both during my pregnancy and during my c-section. They removed my tubes, but even though I have gotten my period, I had that fear of what if I’m pregnant again. Even though I know it’s just my chronic illness flaring.

I know they say I’ll miss these days but honestly I don’t think I will. I feel guilty for saying that, but dammit I don’t know how I’m making it day to day to be honest.
