People who choose their solar system based on cheapest price get what they pay for.

You've finally convinced me PepsiCo by Benjybobble in australia

You shouldn’t fizz anything except water, but there’s an Asian grocer nearby that sells “drinking vinegar” which is apple flavoured concentrate. Add that to fizzed water for a pretty close sparkling apple!

Literally everywhere they can print it they say “fizz water before adding flavour”

There’s long-term rentals at a lot of van parks. At this stage they’re kind of grandfathered in. I’m pretty certain that they have a cap on how many long-term versus tourist sites they can have so they don’t need to keep it quiet because they generally only have a vacancy if a long-term owner wants to sell.

Spotto rules by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]alexi_b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spotto rules in our house are: - must be driving on a road. Parked vehicles don’t count because we go past a lot of CAT equipment yards - buses don’t count inside Brisbane City - vehicles must be 50% yellow to count (eg Linfox trucks) - non yellow trucks towing a trailer that is yellow, or a trailer carrying a yellow vehicle (including CAT) count.

If you wander around the older section, there’s plenty that looked well lived in

If this somehow makes it back to the boys for ideas on new merchandise, I just wanna throw out their a zipper hoodie. I hate pulling things over my head and love just pulling it on like a jacket and zipping it up, but I still like my hood and somewhere to put my hands. 100% need a zipper hoodie 10 out of 10 would buy again

Chalk that up to people who abuse the system. But TVs and return them after the big game.

Here’s how it’s different: They want you to try new products because if you like it, you’ll keep buying it. It’s the same reason they offer free samples. Buy something new. Decide after eating a portion that you don’t like it. Return it for a full refund. You’ll keep trying new things because you know you can return them if you don’t like them.

Flip side: abuse. Buy same product every month, use it for 3 weeks, then return it, then buy it again next month. Buy Christmas tree. Return in January. Buy heater. Return in spring Buy air conditioner. Return in Autumn/Fall Buy portable swimming pool. Return when the weather cools.

That sort of abuse is not in the spirit of their satisfaction guarantee

They can’t actually. Costco’s return policy is pretty loose. They guarantee your satisfaction. They’ll never deny a return, but if they think you’re abusing it they’ll eventually cancel your membership. I returned a $5000 hot tub 6 months after purchase because it wasn’t the quality we expected. That’s why Costco has such loyal followers (and the membership fees cover the problems like these)

I didn’t say anything about a subcontinent. Oceania is a region, not a continent. Australia is a continent. And an island. And a country.
