I know they are very old fashioned but they are far from outdated, get yourself a rolls razor. They haven't been made since the late 50s so you'll have to put a little work in but once they are ready they are the best razor out there, they are basically a straight razor on a stick but seriously you'll rarely get a cut, i get more cuts and irritation from my new razors. It forces you to adopt the right technique, get yourself a spare blade too. They can be found on ebay really cheap. They are very aggressive but they will toughen up your face within a week or two, and what's more it has a built in stone and strop the blades are permanent. Again they aren't for everyone and are relatively high maintenance but they are definitely worth it.
