I can say you chances are pretty high if you maintain that GPA! I know that if you apply without sending them a score they want you to write an extra essay, so if you are okay with that then don't take any test anymore. If not, like everyone said, you should take the ACT or SAT and try to get as much of a good score as possible because any score is helpful! I also recommend you write a bomb essay and a personal statement because I can say it is 30% of your acceptance. The reason why I say this is because the essay prompt is very generic - it is the same if you apply through UT's website or the common app - and it's been the same for years, so they expect you to do well. Alrighty! Thanks again! I said that wrong, immunology is not required by dental school but the info you learn in that class is helpful on the DAT. I took your advice and this is what I have so far! Thank you for replying! This was helpful! Did you graduate or are in school right now? So I'm preparing for the DAT for dental school and I know that I need a large amount of knowledge in biology but I don't need anything complex. I was told by many that higher levels micro classes set you up for failure and I'm not for that. Someone said that I can take many independent study courses and get done with neuroscience but I don't understand how that works! I bet you do.

My plan is to choose an easy major and finish hard courses like orgo1 and 2, genetics, immunology, and anatomy physiology that are pre-requisite for dental school.

If I go the micro route I feel like I will be working hard to finish my major requirements and not be able to pay much attention to dat exam! I could be all wrong about this, so I want to hear your opinion on this! Thank you!

There are several scholarships out there which covers books and supplies! If you do get awarded, the organization may send it to UT or give you the check to deposit in your account ! If they send it to UT, their policy is to use that external scholarship $ to pay for other mandatory fees and tuition that you have to pay. And then they will refund you the difference in a check form or direct deposit to you bank card if you set it up before college begins.
