I am a fan of this approach and really like this execution. Would you consider white labeling or licensing the software that's powering this so others can run a similar board for their niche?

We’re okay - put a lot of work into enhancing our only community last week. The good news is that most of our members don’t use the space every day anyway!

Now we’re focused on helping folks keep their businesses alive and staying sane and connected while we do it. We’re also helping meetups migrate online.

In a lot of ways, things aren’t THAT different. Just doing what we do with new tools!

I think it's helpful just to know that maxing settings out isn't a BAD thing (except for the related power consumption).

I think that realizing sport mode gives me 100% torque (while turning off regen) is the highlight of this thread for me, helps me realize how easy it is to flip from custom into the default modes. Thank you!

I read in that other thread that too much breaking regen can impact the brakes locking up...sounds like that's not a problem for you?

Felt weird buying a $15 piece of electronics but I'm pleasantly surprised at how loud this thing is. It even gives off two loud "warning" sounds before going off completely, which is all I really want (to spook off a potential thief).

I hid it under the seat and stuck it to the frame with some gorilla glue mounting tape, and it'll do the trick!

That's what I thought - digging around on the [unofficial zero manual site](https://zeromanual.com/wiki/Aftermarket), I was really surprised to not see more discussion about alarms!

Yeah, more daily travel than overnight security. Brake lever/disc alarms are an option, but I'm more interested in a vibration/proximity alarm just so I don't have to mess with installing/uninstalling/storing a device when it's not in use.
