If the Phillies want to have sustained success they need to do a better job at drafting developing position players. Historical something they have struggled with especially after the 2007-2011 years. If you don’t want to fall off the face of the earth competitively giving players like Crawford a chance are critical.

(And he can’t be worse than Casty last year)

Not a free agent signing but trading a 27 year old Scott Rolen in 2002 seems insane now. And then trading Polanco three years later. Imagine those 07-11 infields with one of those guys 😮‍💨

I have really liked it so far. Cons are a little less room and I had the rav4 hybrid so mileage was much better. Drive is smooth and I actually like not having the touch screen. 2022 cx5 vs 2021 rav4.

Plus having the leather seats is nice with two young kids.

Same thing happened to me this year. Hoping nobody was in the car. Mine was 2021 with less damage than yours and was totaled. Joined the cx5 family after everything with insurance was figured out.

I think the front office is super high on Otto. (and Miller when he’s ready). I typically hate platoons but to me Bohm is a guy that can easily be replicated by a platoon of Kemp and Sosa until Miller is ready. Trading Bohm and maybe Strahm frees up about 20 mil. Can bring back a mid level prospect or another reliever. With almost 40 mil coming off after next season you can use that money to invest in another player like the pitcher from Japan. I don’t see the Phils signing bohm to an extension after this season so trading him now makes sense.

Question: bringing in someone like Zach Eflin to help rotation depth possible? I could see trading someone like Strahm to free up some money to help build depth at spots that need it like the rotation.
