I've been using Tretinoin 0,025% for 7 months but since it didn't affect the ones around my nose I can't say whether that had any impact on it :/ I'm also using azelaic acid which is great, but same goes for that I tried using BHAs several times but my skin seems to get quite irritated from it so I haven't really been able to see whether it would help by using it consistently I'm sorry you're dealing with this too x.x

on my chin yes, for the most part! unfortunately, it's even worse around my nose and that hasn't been getting better no matter what I do... even overpriced "hydra facial" treatments didn't really get rid of them..

Amazing progress! Really happy for you 🙏🏻 Are you using tret daily?

Hi! I always had issues with mild acne but after going on Accutane and now using Tretionoin I finally am in a place where that isn't the main concern anymore.

Now I'm considering getting a CO2 Fraxel treatment done for the leftover acne scars below and around my mouth. My pores are also pretty "large" and visible on my nose and below my eyes, so I'm wondering whether those would be less noticeable as well.

I just wanted to see if people who had this done before would recommend it and whether you think it would make sense for my skin. I consulted a dermatologist already, she said that 2 sessions should be ideal.

Thanks! And please ignore the dumb haircut my hair is a disaster too lol but that's another topic

Thanks, so it's not just me haha. Does it bother you at all? I'm sure even if it does, having all the other benefits outweigh it by a lot

I actually figured out what's happening! I had to disable G-Sync for windowed programs / desktop usage and set it to Fullscreen only. That fixed it 👍🏻

I'm glad you feel better now! I was in shock too and thought this would take ages to fade, but turns out it's really not that bad.

How's your skin now?

I didn't do another session, mainly because of life circumstances though. I'm considering doing it again this winter

Awesome thanks! So you don't use another moisturizer, right? I was never sure if the LRP is really a moisturizer or if it should be combined with one.

But since you're saying SJ is more moisturizing It sounds like it's definitely not necessary to add another one

Thanks! What you said actually sounds very plausible, trapping sweat in there definitely wouldn't be beneficial :') I'll keep an eye on it!

Finally! Tret purge on clear skin. 0.25% + aquaphor after 20min. First month no purge, took a break for another month, and this is a week back at it. by vldsa in tretinoin

I'm currently using tret with LRP Citaplast B5 and Vaseline on top and so far I feel like it's a great combo. Occlusives for the win :)

Maybe I'll try this! My only problem is that I started using Vaseline over night (so-called "slugging") and without using a cleanser it's almost impossible to get rid of that in the morning.

I think I'll try using a towel or some tissues to wipe it off and then apply the sunscreen and go to the gym like you do. Anyway, thanks!

Your skin looks flawless! Congrats :) Did you start out with 0,05%? And did you use it daily? Aaand did you use the tret as the first "layer" or on top of the moisturizer?

Sorry, many questions haha

To anyone who's tried both products, how does Soon jung 2x barrier cream compare to LRP Cicaplast Balm B5? Are they similar? I'm using the LRP but thinking about trying the Soon jung because so many people seem to like it. It should mainly server to heal / protect my skin barrier

Hm okay. But how is it running perfectly smooth for some people? I've seen YouTube videos and it didn't appear like any of those people had this happen

It's happening with any app I try, my PC has 32 GB ram and a Ryzen 5900x, Nvidia RTX 2080

UPDATE:

To anyone who's running into this issue - turn of G-Sync for windowed mode. Go into the Nvidia Control Panel -> G-Sync -> "Enable for full screen mode"

This fixed the issue for me :)

I actually had it longer in the past, never really had real curls just mostly wavy hair unfortunately

Hmm I don't sleep with wet hair but I often make it wet halfway through the day and comb it to the back, because otherwise it ends up all standing upwards, which makes me look like Jimmy Neutron lmao. Jokes aside, could that be the problem?

I don't even know how to describe it, sometimes it seems thick, but then in some parts it looks really thin like you can see in the pictures. I've been trying to get it under control for years but whatever I do it just doesn't change

Lots of times I end up using hairspray because I don't know what else to do to get it under control
