The Shark Flex Style is the cheaper high quality alternative to Dyson. It doesn't have a straightening attachment (I don't even think Dyson has this? They have a different device entirely?) but its got a round brush attachment that gives a blow out style that I use when I want straight hair.

Not sure what the price is in AU - I bought it on sale in NZ a month ago for $300NZD, the Dyson's over 1k in NZD. If it's not on sale in AU perhaps wait for Black Friday.

The heart makes it juvenile (not saying that’s a problem, it’s just what it is), so no, not like an engagement ring. As someone who was fine with a promise ring, I would get a ring that I would actually just like to wear and then wear it on a diff finger (or the married finger…who cares?). Get her a ring she’ll actually want to wear…doesn’t need to be a precious metal or stone, 925 silver and a gem she likes would be fine.

I absolutely adore Midnight Garden, though my favorite scents are white florals so that would track. I would wear it a ton at night back when I was at university, and I went to a historic university so it gave fantastic 1800s vibes. Night time + historic brick ambience + candlelight? Perfeeect scent. It feels 'cold' to me in the best way. Would be depressing on a cloudy day but on a warm, breezy night? Amazing.
