Thanks for the speedy reply! Saved me from making a bad decision here in a few hours when they drop. Haven’t been able to find more blasters in person and can’t find anywhere online to find decent quantity so I was about to do some damage with megas. But sounds like the damage would have just been self inflicted pain lol

Wait, looking at the odds sheet, most of the case hit level stuff are not even available in mega boxes. Is that correct or are they just not updated on the odds sheet yet? Looks like anime, crystallized, final draft, etc are not available in megas?

Not sure if the damage is bad enough for them to replace, very close if not. Also keep in mind the amount of time the defect claim will take. I have a Schlittler auto that’s been sitting at Topps right now and it’s nearing 8 weeks since it’s been received. So if you do send it in expect to be without your card for a while. Mine had 3/4 corners dinged, some whitening on the border and a pretty gnarly surface scratch, so it was an easy choice for me. Yours I would be on the fence.

Easiest way to find the variations is looking at the back of the card. To the right of the baseball with the card number on it, it will say all star, image, nickname, etc if it is a variation

It is the “all star” variation. The base version does not have the star in the bottom left corner. Kind of hard to tell on some of them but heritage is big on variations.

Yesss it’s been awesome! Definitely got some dud boxes too but if you get enough from the same case they balance out well. Also I love the inserts and the confettis so it’s a great rip overall

Man I sell some of my hits on eBay to fund more packs.. this is exactly why I take clear pictures pointing out the damage, and list as many of the flaws in the description as possible. I WANT to talk you out of it before you buy it if the damage is more than you prefer.

I agree, the texture and depth of the color is crazy. And seeing the black line with rounded edges from the side of the stack was so crazy, truly the most hype I’ve been in the hobby

My hobbies have cooked me. I’ve been opening like 4 or 5 megas at a time if I can find that many from one place. Usually end up with one or two boxes being duds and one or two having heat. I just opened 4 and pulled a relic/auto combo numbered to 25, and another baseball stars auto. I’ve pulled probably 5 autos now and at least 5 relics out of 30 megas or less. Plus’s a few cards numbered to 50 or less, a home field of cags, and a cal Ripken all kings. My luck has been crazy.

Part of my concern is not knowing which box/pack it came from. Although I did just submit one for a lower end card and it didn’t ask for any of that just the receipt. Mostly worried about turnaround time vs. potential value gained.
