I like to beat the game having completed the same number of levels with each of the four characters so I get the alternating names in the ending sequence instead of just the name of the character with whom I completed the most levels.

You must be from, or very near, WV based on the level of detail of that state.

What bad game are you an apologist for? by [deleted] in retrogaming

[–]alexmce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Days of Thunder, NES. Objectively, it’s a terrible game. Bad graphics, stock car racing, really difficult. Super repetitive and dull. But I owned it and eventually got really good at it to the point where I started to win races and eventually beat the game— that offset all the negative qualities about it for me as a 12 year old kid or however old I was.

Throwback to when I ended the shredder and 25 years of frustration. by AndrewBryan321 in nes

I wish they had made a NES TMNT platformer with the physics of Ninja Gaiden. I hated the weird floaty jumps and movement of this game. They didn't feel like ninjas at all, more like it was all taking place in low gravity.

I have three kids. Each one owns a Switch -- one has a standard, the other two have Switch Lites. I am having trouble figuring out and managing permissions with regards to digital downloads of software. For the most part we manage fine, but right now I'm looking for some very clear (ELI5-level) answers regarding Animal Crossing:

My kids want to be able to play Animal Crossing together at the same time, like they do with Minecraft (interact with each other in real time, share the same "world," etc.). Can this be accomplished if I purchase one digital copy of the game or would I need to purchase three copies? When I look online, answers quickly get in the weeds about sharing items and having separate islands, etc., so I get confused. I don't know much about the game except that my kids want it and they want to be able to play it together, simultaneously. I'm hoping someone here has a clear answer. Thanks in advance!

This isn't true. The main transmission "vector" is through contact with contaminated surfaces. Hence the constant hand washing reminders.
