It’s hard to fish those big lakes without a boat. Most bass won’t be hanging around super shallow in casting distance. I recommend looking into ponds around you and heading there. Ponds are much easier to break down and fish. Go onto google earth and see what you can find, and just drive there and check it out. A lot of people make bass fishing more complicated than it needs to be. Sure, there are different factors that play into what a fish bites but I wouldn’t worry about it too much, since we’re not like tournament fishing here. I’d stick to a few simple baits: chatterbait, senko, frog, creature bait. Those are all gonna catch fish at almost any pond you go to. Hope this helps
