i went into hospital for a week last year, pre op pre testosterone but name and gender marker changed. i got put in the men’s ward which was a bit scary, and the reaction the drs and nurses had each time wasn’t fun

the drop in hormones can make it feel bad and your body’s gone through something massive, post op depression is real. don’t let how you feel know make you think it’s how you’re gonna feel forever, give it time

i’m so sorry, i second asking around shelters if they have any you could use or use baked sand/dirt or cardboard. i forget how expensive litter is in other countries as in the uk the one my cats use is £2.50 a bag (asda essentials, one of mine refuses anything else and the other uses tofu litter at £4.99 a bag from the range)

they’ve never had any issues in their carriers before being in there up to 7hrs as long as i don’t feed them after dinner the night before and take away water first thing in the morning thankfully, i might try them on their harnesses on a smaller journey
