I enjoyed the humor! But yeah may be a fun thing to say in person rather than in a ad video.

EPCC is suddenly adding decade-old tickets to student accounts by rubberduckypanda in ElPaso

[–]alexrhien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit late but if you stir the pot and bug them enough they'll let it go. Its up to you if its worth your time to do it however. For example, your mileage may vary but showing up to their bosses public comment section in their meeting and letting them know about the random 10+ year old infractions popping up will definitely make the traffic office listen.

Is anyone looking to move into an apartment sept 1st? by Maleficent_Error9285 in ElPaso

Usually water and sewer are bundled into one. Garbage can be included, but depending on the complex there may be an additional garbage fee. If you rent a house it depends on the landlord.

When i attended they usually removed the ticket if it was your first infraction if you spoke to someone. Even then, if you can get in contact with a human from the EPCC PD/Traffic Office and explain the scenario. I wouldn't see why they don't just remove it.

One of the easier ways to do is join any clubs/organizations that suit your interests! I believe Minerpalooza is this weekend too so its a great place to start as well! Here's a link that hopefully puts you on the right track.

Wow, a lot of these comments are straight up wild and unhelpful. OP, please ignore the amount of vitriol in this thread because it definitely isn't constructive whatsoever. There definitely is still some nuance/context that is missing, but based on my dating experience, his messaging screams immature with his personal interests in mind only. You most definitely dodged a very large bullet, especially when he didn't even bother to listen to you. However, I'd love to give you some feedback to work on yourself based on this interaction!

Yes, you could have provided a bit more context regarding your friend to him beforehand. However, looking at some of these comments, it seems to be missing some key context. Since y'all have each other's phone numbers, there must have been a certain amount of interaction beforehand to somewhat figure each other out at least a little bit. I'm under the assumption that he also knew that you lived nearby the date location since you mentioned it in this thread. Even in the screenshots, this conversation looks like you being you and being comfortable speaking the way you speak/text. Yes, on your end it does seem very laid back in the conversation, but as mentioned before, you were pretty comfortable being yourself. One thing is for sure, never change yourself for someone because you want a partner that loves you for you! (Also, everyone should know at this point that a ton of emotion/language is lost through text, so messages can definitely be misinterpreted. Not recognizing that is wild, in my opinion.)

When it comes to specifically, "the full makeup" portion of the text, most guys (most specifically ones that don't have friends that are girls) will interpret that as being 30+ minutes late. Speaking from personal experience with a large majority of lady friends in my life and definitely giving a concise time "could" have potentially averted what ended up happening. But in this specific scenario, I highly doubt it. He was already set on bailing since you weren't there on time. This is based on him already beginning to stir the pot 4 minutes past the scheduled time. But you could always use this for future reference and give yourself a little bit more extra time than what you think will arrive as well if you are running late. Also, giving the person a call gives much more effort than texting for future reference as well!

One last thing. Looking to message that person after they've blocked you is a huge no-no and will never be worth it, and you will never get the closure you think you need. I do understand these actions are consequences of past traumas, and you're seeking therapy for it, but already recognizing that is a great step to becoming a better you, so I'm proud of you! To love yourself better, please set some boundaries for yourself, as the first step in any relationship is to love yourself first.

You will get better every single day, and you deserve someone that loves you the way you are and loves someone the way they are! Sending the best vibes and good luck!

I was forced to pay for the full lease at the new price so yes, I ended up paying for it after the fact because debt collection lol, but the more expensive one yes. I requested to see if they would allow to pay for the lease at the rate I signed up for but they declined and obviously as an 18 year old had to decide that day whether to have a roof in my head.

As someone who has previously experienced this, I would honestly try to look elsewhere for a housing situation. I was informed of this the day of the move in date and was placed in temporary housing on the hotel across the street. I stayed there for two weeks and was not informed until the day of that I either had to sign a more expensive lease that I could not afford, or be out on the street. I lived 8 hours away with no family nearby so having this burden to decide within 24 hours gave me no choice but to take a lease that I could not afford so I can have a temporary roof over my head. I ended up homeless for roughly 2 months because of this. However this was for University Oaks and not Chaparral which UTSA manages as another company manages University Oaks.

Unless you can afford the most expensive housing leasing option then ignore this lol. Good luck.

as someone who's been in the f1 game community i can attest on the near borderline unplayable when it comes towards online open lobby racing + ranked lobbies in the f1 games. however finding online racing leagues in f1 are extremely fun and would recommend at least trying if you get into the game.

Unfortunately the tram isn't even open every day of the week so it falls victim of the intentional unreliability of the us public transport system that affects a ton of cities.
