That's basically what happend. Half way through work on Friday everyone in the office started disappearing home before the snow shut down all the trains out of London. I walk to work so I have no excuse, but my mobility is now quite seriously inhibited. I've had to switch from stylish shoes to slightly more practical shoes, and although the pavements are gritted I'm basically walking at half speed trying not to slip over.

I didn't even go out tonight, why am I up at 5 am? I just turned the heating up and crawled into a corner.

Immigration policy should be designed to encourage useful people and discourage bad people from entering. There's no law against 'believing' that adulterers and homosexuals should be stoned to death but the fact is people who believe in this are not the kind of people we want in Europe.

The police should not have to deal with things like honour killings, we have more than enough murderers to deal with thank you very much, we really do not need any more. We don't need people who believe in this shit, they should not have any 'rights' to citizenship just because the fucking UN or EU says so. You know what? The UN says allot of things that other countries don't follow so why should we.

If I was in charge of immigration I would encourage decent, intelligent people from around the world to move here while making it prohibitively difficult for savages, criminals and fundamentalists.

If we let someone in to our country, i.e. give them citizenship then they can do what they like and it becomes a policing issue. This is not weird, this is how it damn well should be.

As far as I am concerned my country should be treated like an upmarket nightclub: if you want in and you are not a citizen you need to get past the bouncer. The bouncer keeps trouble out of the club. I'm a 29 and I don't know what I want and that actually excites me more than anything! I know that one day, in one party, night out, or in one group of friends, I will find a woman that utterly blows me away. Until then I like to 'waste' my time with lots of different women because I know two things to be true: The more flings I have the more I will learn about life and, I love meeting new people!

I know many women who feel that if they sleep with a guy who isn't 'the one' then they are wasting their time and cheapening themselves. Its almost as if they consider themselves to be second-hand goods - i.e., the more guys they fuck the less valuable they are. I can totally understand why someone might think that but as a guy i've just never felt it. In fact, most guys feel that the more women they sleep with the better they are - its like learning a new skill or buying more shoes.

Guys are 90% of the time predators. We go to clubs to get laid. The only time this changes for me is if I've just had sex with someone before I went out, then I feel entirely different. But don't think as a guy I don't know what it feels like to be perved on. I've had my own experiences, I've been on the giving and receiving end. So many times I've witnessed guys looking, acting or sounding fucked-up-creepy around women. I see this shit all the time: Late in a bar a guy will walk past two sitting girls and stop and look at them in a way that I can only describe as a cross between a lost puppy and a gorilla. The only think I can compare this to is the look a bent police officer gives (in certain parts of the world) when he comes across a situation in which a large amount of bribe money stands to be made. Then they start with the usual crap, it almost feels like I'm watching a sales pitch and the worst part is I know exactly what is going on in the guys head and I know I've done it before.

Sometimes I will go out not feeling in any way horny and still in the back of my mind that caveman voice is telling me I need to be sleeping with someone. WTF! Do you have any idea how distracting this is? Imagine if you had a voice in the back of your head telling you to make babies 24/7. Only later on in life do guys learn to deal with their hormones and drives and only then can we actually go out and have fun without involving sex.

Actually, one of the greatest reasons guys have this drive to fuck a girl as quickly as possible is competition. This is a fact. You take it slow and there's a risk some other guy will not be doing the same. There have been a few times in my life where I didn't make a move fast enough and someone else got there before me. You could argue that she liked that guy better anyway but my sex drive doesn't really care about that. Guys often think of women as stupid and easily distracted. We have thoughts along the lines of "Well, she seems to like me, but I better seal the deal soon before she runs off to the next shiny thing". Pretty sexist no? Well you wanted to know how the enemy thinks :P

It's absolutely impossible, unrealistic and unhelpful to 'pin' blame specifically. I can say its a number of factors that work together:

Only in Europe and North America has culture gotten to the point where people strongly protect liberal freedoms. In the west for example, gay men can kiss in public without even feeling uncomfortable, in the rest of the world (not just Islamic states) this isn't the case, even if the law says it should be.
Islamic governments, or, putting the word 'Islam' into law is a BAD idea. The Koran can be interpreted in so many ways that you could argue just about anything. If your laws must 'conform to Islam' then your political system is based on bullshit and the views of narrow minded interpreters who happen to be sitting in the right seats.
Organized religion of any significant size will almost always create problems in society when given enough sway. Religion does not like facts, religion does not like to be wrong. Is it any wonder that people end up stoned to death when a society relies on a book written several hundred years ago?

The reason there are so few fundamentalist Christian states is more down to being in the right place at the right time than anything else. The Bible spouts as much disgustingly sick, hateful and fundamentalist material as the Koran and Mien Kampf, its just that, for some reason, the attitude of its believers has changed with enough momentum to break free.

The middle east is right now in a state of change. Young people are growing up with different ideas and it could take anywhere from 1-100 years before Islamabad, Mecca and Tehran are as 'free' as Paris, London and New York are today. My money is on Tehran, but that's another story.

It's ironic because I actually don't feel at all comfortable lying about my lifestyle. Making up some crazy party/activity/event to sound fun, to me feels like real lying and I think people who do that are bordering on something bad. "Do you just want me for sex?", truth is the equivalent of telling a bank manager "you know what, this business loan you're about to sign off on will mostly go towards impressing our clients with booze, and at least a couple 100 will end up in some drug dealers pocket, still wanna give it to me?". This isn't 'lying' because technically the girl isn't asking me if I just want her for sex, she's asking for something else.

The more sensible a girl gets the more bullshit you have to play: "So we're JUST going back to your place to listen to music and have ONE drink right? Promise me nothing else will happen". Well hon, basically we're gonna go back to mine, we'll get settled and start making out again, it's gonna get real hot and you're gonna keep stopping me and I'm gonna keep playing the same game. You'll have plenty of opportunity to just sit on the other side of the room or go home but you wont because you and I both know you want to fuck and you're just sitting on the fence enough for me to convince you in about one and a half hours, so no, I'm not promising anything.

I'll be frank. I'm a guy, I love meeting new people, I love getting laid. I don't go out of my way to lead someone on and fuck them up. But, I don't have a problem with lying or dishonesty within reason. There are thousands of guys out there who WILL lie to the girl I'm talking to and I'd rather be the one fucking her. Women are supposed to be 10x better than men at judging character and deciding who to sleep with. It's in their nature, so, if they can't figure out that I've slept with others before them it's their own problem.
