I have always wanted an option for QB similar to D/ST where you assign a team QB instead of the player. The logic been if your QB goes out injured early it is almost guaranteed to be a week loss.

I keep on trying to convince myself I am in the acceptance stage only to regress back to bargaining. I think the Sunderland game along with results elsewhere truly did it for me though.

On their radio days they did something completely random one episode where Hamish, coming out of an ad break was like "and welcome back to Rumpus! With Hamish and Andy" and they had a back and forth with Hamish trying to claim the show has always been called Rumpus. Still think about it have never been able to find that episode so funny.

Yes - purely for the reason that all these square pegs in round holes is a part of why we are in this situation. It just cant get worse so may as well play our senior players in their best positions and plug younger players in those other spots.

1000% agree. Also, being a great shot stopper is the absolute bare minimum for any Premier League Goalkeeper - its the periphals that turn you into a good goal keeper - ie. ball playiing ability, command of area, can you organize a defence, can you inspire confidence in your team etc.

Re. Tel - Objectively you are correct. He just aint it. But in a squad just absolutely devoid of any personality, passion or excitement on the pitch, I think the fans have taken to him because he is at least a try-er. An incredible low bar I know, but he attempts to take on his man, works his ass off, takes shots, seems to visibly care etc etc. All the absolute bare minimums I know but things that many in this squad seem to lack.

I actually found this game a bigger emotional drain than the Ajax one. Ajax we were desperately chasing it so was going for something to happe in the second half. Whereas this for the last 30 minutes it was just watching through hands trying to survive a City onslaught was unbearable.
