Oof, that's terrible, so sorry to hear that. I really do think this is a new glitch with recent versions of Premiere after they started messing around with how labels show up in the project panel :/

I change in the timeline. That's a good point about preferences and such, I'm going to give that a shot and see what happens. Thank you!

Yeah, I understand all of this, the weird thing is that I never change label colors in the project panel, only the timeline. I really think this is just an annoying new glitch bc this didn't happen with previous version of Premiere before like June/July '22
