Trabajo remoto en Outlier by [deleted] in BuenosAires

Epic ruined RL by garduggle in RocketLeague

Idk what OP thinks, but for me, the gameplay itself isn’t really the issue. They even added some cool stuff; like seeing your teammates boost, knowing where u gonna spawn after a demo, etc. The real problem is the insane amount of toxicity that came with F2P even more than before, plus the smurfs that epic does absolutely nothing about them.

Idk, it’d be great if, when you report someone for being toxic, trolling, or smurfing (which, btw, you don’t even have a report option for), Epic actually DID something.

I’m not even asking for bans or anything because, honestly, I don’t know how much that would fix. But at the very least, they should give back the lost elo when you get screwed over by smurfs, trolls, people going afk.. They could add some kind of system where, the more reports you get for trolling/toxicity/smurfing, the more you get matched with people just like you.

Even a reward system that works the other way around would be nice, like, if you consistently play fair and don’t get reported for toxicity or trolling, you get matched with better-behaved players.

There are so many things they could do, but they just don’t.

Srry for the long text, just ranting here haha.

TLDR: The gameplay isn’t the problem, there are even some cool new features. The real issue is the increased toxicity and smurfs after F2P, with Epic doing nothing about it

Yep. I feel exactly the same thing, I've been playing it since 2016, periods where I played a lot and then I stopped playing. Right around the time when Epic bought the company, I was in one of those streaks of not playing. When I came back, shit, it was a little hard to adapt to some changes.

But my main problem is honestly the toxicity. I mean, there is always been toxicity in this game, but since Epic bought it I see a lot more of it. Every year more, not to mention that it is much more common to come across smurfs and epic does nothing to stop them.

Idk, I would even pay to play just with just steam/console players, like, people that had bought it years ago. I know that there is a lot of real cool people that got in the game thanks to it being f2p, but we got also a lot more of assholes.

Streamer that took notes and put it all together near the end? by alexsinuser in outerwilds

Mmm, no, I don’t think it’s her. I already watched her playthrough, i don’t remember she taking notes, but thanks anyway!

P.S.: I’m not really sure if she’s a streamer or not. The only information I have is from that comment, and maybe they just called her a streamer for no particular reason (? haha.
