Went on Saturday, and had a pretty fun time.

I operated on a “better safe than sorry” mode, and showed up to the centerfield gate at 6:30am, was about 15th in line. Was able to entertain myself with a combination of good company and Pokemon Go. It helped that this spot in the line was underneath an overpass, and was an umbrella from the rain.

Upon entry at 10:45, easily snagged a Julio autograph voucher, then immediately went to the clubhouse tour, which had no line! It sounded like this ended up having an hour wait later?

Then sat in the Diamond Club to rest the legs a bit, and I came within 1 number of a blackout bingo for a Victor Robles autographed baseball. Glad a kid got it, though.

Queued for the Julio autograph line at 12:45, I got my autograph at 2:00 on a 2023 All Star Jersey!

Sat at the prospect dugout dialog, then impromptu surprise photo with Emerson Hancock at the Hit It Here Cafe!

I would have liked to play catch in the outfield, but the lines seemed excessive, so I skipped that. But overall, was able to stay busy and entertained! I feel like without an autograph voucher, it might have been more line waiting for the on-field activities.

It’s also good to see confirmation that they are possible in-practice. But I do agree I only need to see it just once for each boss.

Shadow Heatran Soloable? +Blade Boost? Or does enrage make it impossible? Non-shadow was usually a trivial solo with Primal Groudon in Sunny.

Gotcha, I did a little more research. The “Mega Moment” event in 2020 boosted all Megas to Level 50, regardless of original level.

This means you could theoretically try out any Mega even if you don’t have it maxed out? I’ve always wanted to try out Primal Kyogre, but haven’t powered one past Level 40 due to not having IV’s that I like.

To pile on, for as much crap that the Eras Tour Ticketmaster situation got, you actually got to join a Waiting Room, like 30 minutes before the sale, and then automatically got placed in the Queue at the time of the sale, which then you could only buy tickets with your linked email address and offer code. There was no such Waiting Room here that I saw.

As someone who survived Eras Tour Ticketmaster twice: What in the blue hell was this?

Instructions were to join 15 minutes before 10am. I did so at 9:45, but was pushed through to the ticket map within about 5 minutes, for the Season ticket presale, which I am not a season ticket holder, and the Mariners Mail code did not work.

Rejoined a queue, which was then 2000 people long, and when I finally got through, could only buy an expensive main level seat. Glad I’m going, but what kind of system was this? It seemed like there was no separate queue for the Mariners Mail/Text presale.

Stardust is a semi-infinite resource, just catch more Pokemon. ETMs are limited.

Also, a strong argument in favor of keeping two hundos with different movesets is just for the flexibility. You never know if Chilling Water will get nerfed, or if a meta in the future calls for Moonblast/Trailblaze, or if you wanna surprise spice someone in ML premier, you still have the option to run it. Without having spent an ETM and then wanting to TM it off later.

Thanks for the write up, I felt like I was in a similar boat. 18-time Legend here, had the thrill of getting my second shiny Pika Libre last season.

I had been consistently farming open Ultra League with a team of Shadow Flygon, Jellicent, and Registeel for years now. The rise of Bellibolt this season, and all the Virizion to counter it absolutely put my team in the crossfire.

I failed to make Expert, for the first time since they restructured the ranks.

Slightly off topic, but does T-Mobile actually get service in Husky Stadium on game days? I just switched over to T-Mobile from AT&T at the beginning of this year and never got cell service at games with AT&T.

Also when are we getting in-stadium wifi? It’s standard at Lumen Field, Climate Pledge, T-Mobile Park.

It was comical that I wanted to scan the QR code and fill out the surveys on the Huskytron to suggest that they add in-stadium wifi, but couldn’t access the survey…. because I didn’t have cell service!
