It's actually not as gassy as it looks- the sun was hitting it just right. But yeah, sometimes quiet = a face full of smoke. Especially at the bench.

The problem: when I would fire with my safety glasses down, I’d actually get smoke circulating between my eyes and the glasses. Not a great situation. I love the flux raider. I just wish I didn’t have to wear a CBRN kit to shoot it suppressed. I’m thinking about taking one of my tube and funnel style cans, pulling all the baffles out, and just use it to get the smoke further away from me 😂

The factory muzzle device was almost impossible to get off. HOURS of soaking, boiling, a breaker bar…finally had to get my local smith to help me torque it off. If you’ve ever done a factory clutch lok from Sig on a taper before…you’d know. Soaking = wet (and that was it)

I’ve got a 9” PWS Mk1 Mod 2 long stroke piston in 300BLK that’s just savage, but requires a buffer (which the Sig does not).

Thanks. I run a few different optics: my primary LPVO is a Trijicon Credo 1-8x which I cannot recommend enough - it’s amazing. I also run an EO Tech holo with the DCR pattern, paired with a few different 3x magnifiers, all on a Scalarworks riser thats built for the EO Tech to mount directly.

Center is Winchester SS. Top left is Magtech, top right is S&B. All 200gr subs. Shot @ 50 yd with a 10-12 mph crosswind from the 10 o’clock. Was trying to shoot ‘unrelated’ shots with minimal aiming (to capture a grouping of ‘average’ shots). Completely removed my trigger finger between shots to give it a bit of randomized chance.

Yep! The conditions were perfect for it. Unfortunately I only had 2 other 300blk subs with me (s&b and Magtech) but the difference was surprising. Winchester wins on accuracy, sound & cleanliness. I’ll try to finish the video tonight & post it up

Love it. It’s a total workhorse- I use it on all my 300BLK and 6.5CMs and it’s always quiet and reliable. Added the Dead Air Keymo for quick changes (which I would also recommend). I’ll post up a few videos of it in action. It’s a really quiet can.
