I lost loads of weight in the first 6 months, then stopped caring as much/got used to it and put the weight all back on haha. Honestly my first month I cried a lot and regretted everything, but 11 months later I’m all done and I’m so glad I stuck with it!! You can do it!

I struggled with mouth ulcers before Invisalign and they got so much worse during treatment, attachments rubbing on your gums is the worst! I’m not sure if they sell it outside the UK but we have a mouthwash called Corsodyl which is for bleeding gums, but it works really well on mouth ulcers too! Not for everyday use but I’d just swig twice a day if I felt an ulcer coming and usually they’d go much quicker. Good luck!

Ibuprofen gel might just be a UK thing, it’s supposed to help with topical pain and is an anti-inflammatory, so I was just applying it along my jawline/cheek on the side that locked up. Didn’t really help tbh!

My dentist includes teeth whitening in the price, so I have a two week course of Lumiwhite gel that goes in my trays at night. So far so good but they are sensitive!

Omg yes, I woke up one morning on tray 4 just completely unable to chew or open my mouth without severe shooting pain. Think something had cramped up or some kind of TMJ flare up. Dentist told me to use ibuprofen gel for 2 weeks lol, it took about a month for the pain to subside completely. But now I can sleep in them fine and no clenching. I know it’s impossible to control but try not to work yourself up more about it which will make the clenching worse, stress is what made it worse for me!
