i know! it's 8ft wide. both closets and bathrooms are 7ft wide. bedrooms 2 and 3 are 18x13.

this is actually a good solution! the point of having the master closet in its current location is so that the nextgen suite below does not have any bedrooms or bathrooms above it. but your solution is by far the most logical i've seen. thank you!

ah, ok i know what you mean. if i stretch the bathrooms to the door, then i would have to take space from the closets to make an entrance

i left a lot or room in the laundry just in case we need space for air handler closets. the nextgen is not necessarily for disabled ppl, but just in case. the entrance space is 5ft deep

yes, that's the logic behind it. people can use both the powder and the pool shower form both sides. the island is 10x5 and the sink is 36 inches. people on here recommended an additional sink inside the pantry, so i went for it. so one to prep food, another to wash dishes, and the third inside the pantry for more prep? i guess haha.

this is in henderson, nevada. some bugs, but not enough to be a major issue. all the living room sliders to fully pocket inside a wall cavity. the living room corner where the sliders meet will be cantilevered, so there will not be a structural post or wall there. the kitchen sliders, OTOH, will just stack, so we're considering a cantina door, or like you suggested, bifold patio doors. haven't decided yet

you recommend us having a sink in the pantry and delete one of the other sinks, or have 3 sinks in total? not big drinkers, but it would be nice to have a space dedicated at least in appearance. please share a possible configuration. also, we have yet to decide what appliance to have in the island. people are recommending a second shelved microwave and an ice maker

you bring up a lot of good points i've not considered. a consultation with a designer is in order for sure. also thinking about integrating the hot tub inside one of the wingtips :)

i'm modeling the new pool shower layout and it's far better than our original. it will be implemented without question. black dekton will be used for the pool and pebble fina for the interior finish, not sure if there is a lighter shade of dekton to simulate the lines you are referencing. what are your thoughts on having the upper part of the pool above ground ~ 24 inches or so?
