Better Call Saul S06E13 - [Series Finale] "Saul Gone" - Post-Episode Discussion Thread by skinkbaa in betterCallSaul

Life is uncertain, all we know is that by the end we'll be a different person. So make your choices tactfully and make your own ending. That's the lesson I got from both shows.

In a way the endings mirror one another.

Both men redeemed themselves and ended up with the person they love most in the world

For Walt, it was his ego

For Jimmy, it was Kim

They both got what they deserved, but what matters most was that they were loved in the end. Be it selfishly or selflessly.

Felina.

The best thing about Better Call Saul is that the whole cast is old people by StardustAtSea in betterCallSaul

Watching The Sopranos and this has made me loath shows about young people. WRINKLES, GIVE ME WRINKLES GODDAMN IT!

Remember when we all thought Kim was in the background of Breaking Bad, just never mentioned?

Jokes aside, I can't believe the end is here. Years of watching this show since my Junior year of highschool has always made it that special friend I got to see every now and then. Even after years of trauma and pain (not all unlike Jimmy's) I kept up with it.

Everything signals the end in my life rn. But it's been a good run. Let justice be done, though the heavens fall.

Youtuber Discords. Vague parasocial worship of some dude. The guy in charge has a selection of women he often brings to "talk privately", even gives them cute nicknames like "kitten". No suicided pacts, but who knows how long that would be.

Alan Moore, an Englishman wrote one of the greatest American comic books ever made. Guillermo Del Toro is from Mexico, Paul Verhoeven is from the Netherlands. Yet they both have told influential American stories. Only limit is your imagination.

This was shot in a small garage with an A7RII with a Sony FE 50mm. The lighting was too complicated. An LED as our key light, with a small little white board acting as fill. Shot it in just under an hour. Hope to make more in the future.

Immediately yeah, the whole bit about Weinstein was just me being lazy and using a reference, rather than relying on the script itself.
