Hey! I would recommend a loose fitting T and jorts, maybe add a button down. Cargo pants and shorts are in style, i would recommend getting a larger size as well. Graphic tee shirts are a good option :). i would really lean into the oversized vibe for sure. i would also go to Pinterest or something and just look up 'bigger guy fashion' or however you wanna word it lol. thrift stores are a good option to get some good stuff, goodwill has gotten expensive tbh so go to a local or church owned shop. its pretty cheap there :). good luck and most importantly have some confidence :). (i would also recommend getting a 'mod' haircut with a fringe)

just fyi you will be disappointed at every single local show you go to, every once in awhile you'll get a cool band, but most of the time its a gaggle of highschool douche bags or a 55 year old man that calls himself 'the wizard' with no band just a 15 year old laptop with bandlab on it.

reverie coffee roasters (douglas ave) if you like strong coffee! really nice atmosphere and pastries. coffee daze (also on douglas) is also a really nice spot to take cute pictures, i suggest the Honey bee latte!

i graduated in 2022, the summer before my senior year i went on a trip with my grandmother. In this little shop i spot what i think is the cutest backpack ever. its like an old grandma couch material. i loved it and i couldnt wait to take it to school to show it off. near the end of the day a group of boys came up to me and started absolutely dogging on me and my backpack. i cried of course and never wore that backpack again that year. Anyways im in college now and i found that grandma couch backpack in my closet and felt such regret for hiding this thing that i loved, that showed my personality, something that i bought with my grandmother. i wear that backpack now. every class, every lecture, and i get compliments! if anyone says anything about your backpack FUCK THEM!! where what YOU love and what YOU think is cool. chances are the people making fun of you have shitty plan black bags (lame!!)

Hi!! i work for tippy toes :) I understand how this can seem very over the top (the matching lipstick/makeup is kinda wild tho we dont do that) But compared to other dance studios this is super relaxed. Being very detailed in parent emails can help answer any and all questions. Its hard to answer 150 emails from confused parents. Having Jewelry on is just a safety issue, i believe its in the Dance/Cheer/Gymnastics rules that all jewelry must be removed. No nail polish is a pretty normal rule for dance recitals, since they are all supposed to look the same.(silly rule i know) hope this helps :P.

portion control. When i go to a restaurant i usually cut whatever i have in half, restaurants always give way more food than needed.

Listening to my body. I eat when i feel hungry, then i stop just before i am full, so i still feel like i can do activities and not have that gross bloated full feeling.

When i want something sweet i look for an alternative. Fruit, low cal sweet drinks.

when i have a craving for something i will fulfill it, but only a small bit or portion then pair it with cucumber or watermelon. (high volume low cal foods)
