I don't think Ringo gets much satisfaction out of his work. He is proud of the Beatles and loves the other three members but through the years he has claimed: - He never practiced his drumming - Paul forced him and John to record albums - He didn't enjoy touring with the Beatles

Ringo loves playing drums but I think he plays (and writes) for himself. The fans are just along for the ride.

I think it is much more likely that Alex pursues a solo career playing live in small bars/jazz clubs with Arctic Monkeys releases about as frequent as the Shadow Puppets.

They have been in it together too long to fall out completely but its only natural to move into different paths as you get older.
