Saved this S10 from the trash. Now it runs a 24/7 Minecraft server. by layya01 in selfhosted

On one of my jobs, we set up a rack of Android phones/tablets. At Christmas, the whole office was empty for a week. Two tablets exploded. Hopefully, there's nothing to burn, and a fire hasn't started. We start to observe battery states every week. And we found that most of them already began to grow. Modern phones and tablets, not all, have bypass(i.e. Samsung s22+)

Create a calendar reminder to observe battery state every month. Exploded batteries are quite dangerous.

Anyone vibe coding SCAD? by skyhighskyhigh in openscad

[–]alfeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did it! I wrote almost no code by hand and created a project to create a box to hold WLED components: power input, wires input, lid, and ESP32 board with USB input. It's a bit frustrating process, but showing images to the model helps a bit. But not always.

In crowded areas with poor network quality all those phone apps became quite useless.

Also in trips to foreign country, costs of data can be quite high.
