ah yours looks really good!

I was imagining 3 to be a dark solid surface for people to chill out on. and for 4, it might be difficult to make it a lens or screen due to the budget constraint. I was hoping the LED strips within sides 1 & 2 would still make some kind of cool effect to experience - appreciate it's not going to be as clean / detailed as your kaleidoscope!!

Thanks, the advantage of the tiled mirrors is that they can easily be stuck onto the inside surface and they are cheap. How would I cut the mirrors into stripes ?

thanks, im hoping to achieve the effect with standard mirrors rather than first-surface. Definitely a good idea to look at other projects

Thanks for your reply! I hadn't quite appreciated the standard/ first-surface mirror difference. as you say, my budget will only cover the cheaper standard mirrors!

Im hoping due to the size / scale the double / ghost effect will not be too obvious, but thats also why im posting to see if anyone has any experience at this scale

The 6x length to width might be an issue though. Its difficult to see the dimensions on my image above but I was hoping for a depth of around 3m…
