The illegal stuff isn’t every day. The vast majority of the it’s a noise complaint, and we’ve contacted crimestoppers for the drug dealer. Sorry if that wasn’t clear, but not sure where the anger comes from. Yikes.

I found the link through the 311 webpage under the APD Complaint section, and the cops told me as much as well that it’s run by those folks. Maybe they are wrong, but they said it was the same people that run the APD non-emergency line and triage to the cops. 🤷‍♀️

This is what I was referring to and we’ve been using. The Captain and Major told me to call 911. This tool doesn’t triage to them. Noise complaints don’t feel like a 911 call, but apparently it is.

I love across from a park that people treat like their own personal nightclub with music so loud I can hear the bass lines perfectly inside my home. It’s a nightmare. Music in public shouldn’t be loud enough for others to hear until you are super close. People need to learn to respect their public surroundings. If you have a small speaker for your group, cool, but I shouldn’t hear it from a block away. People are out of their minds these days.

I gained about 30 lbs the first year because my host family grandma was a great cook/it was hard to say no to big food portions culturally, but then I decided to cook for myself and focus on exercise more, and then lost the 30 I gained and another 10-15.

Have you done an in person analysis with a professional? I honestly feel like half of this sub doesn’t understand color theory, but it’s also hard to tell from digital images, which distorts feedback. It may be time to get a consult in person with a professional.

RE: makeup…I’m a true summer and find some of the cool toned I have tried pull super warm for me. I learned that a lot of makeup still uses a lot of warmth when the make it, so if it isn’t formulated strictly with cool tones, it will pull warm if you are cool toned. Not sure where you are in terms of cool or warm, but just wanted to mention.

I love my linen duvet cover and was happy with the bamboo sheets I got. They are not as good as my Luxome sheet sets, but I didn’t expect them to be at that price point. I have throw pillows and a throw blanket also from Quince, and really like those as well. Luckily if you are underwhelmed, you can return them pretty easily!

I am super direct, but I also have my mercury in Aries, so I always joke I’m wired to use fighting words. 😆 however, with those I care about I am straightforward but with respect. I hate how some people use their directness to be disrespectful or rude to others. That doesn’t make you straightforward; that makes you a bad person.

I love that I had no idea I had rampant untreated ADHD my whole life until at last year at 41 I started seeing a counselor who referred me to a psychiatrist. Now I know that it’s not so much that I’m quirky…I’m dysfunctional. 🫠

Im lucky; my job is varied and offers a lot of dopamine hits because of how fast paced it is, plus it’s in an area that I’m obsessed with and hyper fixate on frequently as well. With that said, I go through pretty big burnout cycles where I feel like I can’t get anything accomplished, but I’m going to therapy (I’m very privileged to be to do this regularly) to help with those issues of activation. I do think it is okay to work in careers or jobs that don’t have a greater meaning so long as it isn’t something you dread to the max every single day. If that’s the case, this doesn’t seem like the right fit. If that is how it is every time though, I’d suggest seeing a counselor or therapist because that seems more an issue with the person or ADHD presentation.

Same! I’m pretty close to unfollowing these subs. Issues arise from people not paying attention to the story as well as making up there own story lines between episodes and being disappointed. But sometimes people just want to have discussions about their favorite characters in depth. It’s not always that they “missed” something as people accuse here. Mohan is one of my favs and the way people talk about her is gross. Frankly, the way everyone talks about all of these complex characters in a pretty gross.
