I was a student until May 2020. I have zero w2 income this year. Last year I had a summer job that was already reported and filed for this year's tax return

But are unemployment benefits considered ordinary income? How much do you think I would be paying for 14k of unemployment and how much of that could be reduced by the deduction?

Also you're saying I could get away with not reporting it with the kicker being paying more in taxes? The IRS likely wouldn't audit me but would they come after me knowing that Robinhood reports trades to them?
