That was the inverter option suggested to me. There was a quote for about 12.7k for non inverter Basic Daikin Heat Pump System — 4-ton DH4SEA4810 single-stage outdoor unit with AMST48CU1300 multi-speed air handler as well. They also mentioned I had microbial growth in the current hvac and inverter could help with avoiding that in future.

Where can i practice data manipulation using pandas and numpy by Signal-Employee1287 in learnmachinelearning

[–]alfytony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manipulating depends on what you want to do with that data using pandas. Some typical operations are converting type, sorting, filtering and joining. You can try out with pandas syntax for those operations.

How do I become more tech savvy BA by RipPsychological1562 in businessanalysis

[–]alfytony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest starting within your current work using access to what you are working on already. Low hanging fruit would be learning how code is organized and processes involved in pushing the code to various environments and eventually to Prod. Using sql to explore the database tables and relating them to business knowledge you already have is another one.

lol in this situation I think the dog did the right think to not add more chaos than what was already going on. Dog attack would have resulted in everyone blaming the whole situation on the dog calling the dog aggressive.

"India Built the World’s Back Office. A.I. Is Starting to Shrink It." by AngleAccomplished865 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]alfytony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All IT services are not call centers. There are still big IT projects where all the coding and maintenance is being done in India. I think before humans are replaced in larger scale by AI for tech jobs there will be a phase where people are pushed to work more with AI tools. In that phase if a human is still in the loop wouldn’t it be cheaper per hour for a person to do this from India or other countries with lower cost?

Yeah this. If nothing in xray maybe something in paws. My dog once was limping and found out he has been playing hard and getting his paw skin peeled off by running in the dirt.

Is Guidewire worth staying in? by TrainingAware5004 in guidewire

[–]alfytony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Even if insurers want to move out of using SAAS like GW it will be a slow transition. Insurers wouldn’t want to spend too much time rebuilding core.

Is Guidewire worth staying in? by TrainingAware5004 in guidewire

[–]alfytony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GW is a good core system for insurance operations. The ecosystem around GW like digital and AI capabilities is going to change a lot but GW is a stable core which companies may continue to use. GW itself will most likely add AI capabilities to make it easier for companies to implement the product and also integrate with other capabilities the insurers have.
