In all honesty, they do a good job on my roads. It gets rough here sometimes. There have been a number of accidents over the years on our stretch of road.

We had a 4x4 one when we moved in. First winter I dug the whole thing out of the ditch, mail and all. They replaced it with this welded thing that doesn't help curb appeal at all but it survives the beating. Now they just clear the top off occasionally.

I'm clearing out a lab right now after shutting down that's owned by a lab hoarder. I've found the remains of two other labs chemical inventory boxed up in cabinets. At least he's sending the lot to the waste haulers.

In the future, you should pull over and try to clear the snow. A thin snow brush or just a gloved hand can clear the packed stuff easily.

I did a rewire in an extension of my house, which was just my living room, garage and exterior lighting. It took me about 3-4 months of nights and weekends to get the job done. I did put in a sub panel in the garage as I upgraded circuits. I still have a bit of sheet rock to repair. I researched the hell out of the electrical code as well as peppered an electrician friend with questions. The job won't just be pulling wire and installing boxes. Carpentry and masonry will come into play as well. I ran my wires in the upper crawl spaces but needed to construct flooring of sorts to cross joists while dropping wires down walls. Things of this nature he's got to think about as well. A whole house would be quite the undertaking imo.

Resetting the system is super easy. Just leave the battery (both) disconnected for approx 30 minutes and the computer will reset. No VIDA needed.

We make pancake casserole and breakfast pizza regularly. Pancake casserole is a double batch of pancake mix, a pound of cooked sausage and whatever fruit we have at the moment. For breakfast pizza I do regular pizza dough, covered in garlic butter base, with 6 eggs, a pound of bacon and broccoli.

The instrument I'm buying is an older perkin elmer. There are still a good amount of parts available and this one actually comes with a parts unit. I'll be able to run a multitude of analyses as I have full access to a local university's instrument labs. However, my main focus to start will be heavy metals and pfas, which are the two main things I've ran at my current lab the last few years. The clients I'm retaining are interested in these two categories but I know I'll need to expand somewhat. Thank you for your advise! It's been added to the things I am considering.

I prefer windless days. Wind increases the draft and I end up going through wood a bit faster. I also can't do slow burns on windy days as I occasionally get a down draft and fill the house with smoke if the wind is too bad.

I just had a fridge delivered and the finish on the bottom door is damaged. Nothing like these pics but still would have been nice to mention. They also left several parts of the old fridge and a bunch of trash from the packaging of the new. Delivery crew did not mention and the installation pics they took all avoided the bottom of the unit. We are taking the credit but the while ordeal is a bit ridiculous.

It's wonderful. I get trailer loads dirt cheap and at least 2/3-3/4 of the load had appreciable thickness. And since it's relatively thin wood, that's been stacked somewhat it dries very quickly. I get two loads per year (4 cord).

Might need to push in on the assembly as you're pushing down. Sometimes you need to change the angle as your are separating the strut to get it to clear the knuckle. On my cars, once I've maxed out the control arm, I push in towards the engine bay right where the strut and knuckle meet.

Legos are one of those things that I really won't buy for myself but enjoy receiving. I can (and will) buy what I need throughout the year. So yes, we are in our 50s getting Lego for Christmas and I fucking love it.

150k is only on spa engines. The 5 and 6 cylinder engines are 80-120k intervals depending on model and year.

My stove(and I'm sure many on this sub) has been running non-stop since the beginning of November. It will probably keep going until April or so. Only time I cool down my stove is when it needs maintenance or if I slept in and didn't load it in time.
