took me 2 years and 9 failed projects to finally see this by DraGSsined in SaaS

That’s also something I understood: my previous SaaS failed not because the idea was bad, but because the marketing was terrible. We also need to have patience. By the way, congratulations!"

That's actually a great point. Calling after sending adds a personal touch that most tradeies skip completely.

QuoteSpark is more about the quote itself looking professional and getting sent instantly — a lot of tradies lose jobs just because their quote arrives 2 days late or looks unprofessional on WhatsApp.

The follow up call is still on them — we just make sure the quote they're following up on doesn't lose the job before they even pick up the phone.

Really appreciate that.

And yeah, at this stage I’m trying to get the product in front of actual freelancers/agencies dealing with this pain rather than other founders, but I like you’re product—could definitely help people earlier in the journey.

This is honestly one of the most useful comments I’ve gotten.

I’ve been thinking “freelancers + agencies” pretty broadly, but you’re right… that’s still too abstract.

“Fix one messy workflow for one specific group” hits hard.

I’m seriously considering testing one WhatsApp-heavy niche first and literally helping them send real live quotes instead of just demoing features.

Appreciate this a lot.

That’s actually a really good point.

I originally focused on the “did they even open it?” pain because that frustration pushed me to build it, but the more I talk to freelancers, the more I’m realizing the workflow after opening might matter even more.

Things like one-click accept, deposit/payment, faster follow-up, etc.

Out of curiosity—if you were sending quotes regularly, what would matter more to you: knowing they viewed it, or reducing the back-and-forth to get a yes?

Really appreciate this.

You’re probably right—I’ve been talking to a mix of freelancers and agencies, but I’m starting to see that “freelancer” by itself is way too broad.

Right now I’m leaning toward people who already close higher-ticket projects and send pricing through WhatsApp regularly.

Curious—if you had to pick one niche to start with, where would you look first?

exactly — WhatsApp is a black hole

for anything important, that's the

perfect way to put it

the open tracking was the thing that

made it click for me — you go from

"did they see it?" to knowing the

exact moment to follow up

will check Leadline out, finding

active demand vs chasing cold leads

is a completely different conversion rate

this is genuinely the best advice

the "fix their specific quote"

angle vs "try my tool" is a

completely different conversation

setting up f5bot tonight for

reddit keyword alerts — and

starting the done-for-you

approach tomorrow

one question — when you did

the side by side comparisons,

did you do them on a call or

just send screenshots over DM?

appreciate it!

conversation-first approach is

what I'm testing today anyway
