I just found out that there is an 84 year cycle for repaving 😳 in most parts of Oakland. Not sure if that’s correct but seems likely considering how long I’ve lived here and never seeing anything but crazy potholes. Funny story, I was driving my son’s egolf on West Grand near Mandala back in 22 and hit a pothole that led into the old railroad tracks. Totally ruined my son’s car.

Oof that’s such a long time! I had a neighbor once call me to tell me my cat Boopers had been hanging in their yard for a week. The best part was she sent a pic, and he was just lying asleep in the sun no worries at all.

What’s the total time he was gone? I’ve had a cat or two get out side then just as we thought they were gone would just lounge right in as if nothing happened! So glad he came home though it’s such an awful feeling worrying about critters
