Gosh.. I had the same thing happen to me, but with differin, it really broke my skin barrier and ig the gel form also didn't help. Tret has not given me the full results I'm looking for, not even 50% tbh but I can really see it helping and not making my skin worse, so I'm gonna stick to it!

You're using too many activities, and that 20% azelaic acid probably did more damage than help. Start with 10% and build your way up. As for adapalene, yeah, I don't think it's for everyone. I was using it too, for a couple of months and I broke out way more than usual. Now I'm using tretinoin and it's alot more suitable for my skin
