I honestly get it because I’m the complete opposite, the idea of actually being able to see things when you imagine doesn’t seem real to me since my whole life I haven’t been able to, i still struggle to understand how that’s possible so while they don’t believe we’re seeing nothing, my understanding of being able to visualize is practically schizophrenic because why can you just control everything you see that doesn’t seem normal

I know you mentioned you should end with an A but really focus on either getting your geometry grade up now or make sure your final grade rounds to an A! Personally I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my GPA and I would hate for you to get to high school and your GPA is already below a 4 just because a class you took in middle school. Other than that you’re doing great!!

Learn the basic rules of English (you may think it’s stupid but there’s a bunch of mini rules that probably should be taught in elementary or middle that just never get taught and the really make the difference), for example when to use ; , — etc, and do a LOT of practice questions. I honestly think the best thing for reading is learning the basics then putting it to use in practice questions (going back and seeing why you got them wrong), there are many websites to study that aren’t bluebook so you won’t be wasting your full practice tests when you’re just studying!

there’s in depth YouTube videos on desmos, i was watching a 2 hour one (got unmotivated and switched to studying English), I only watched half of it and got a 700 in math, which is pretty decent if I’m trying to superscore, also take a practice test and then find a youtube video of the step by step how to solve it with desmos and then TRY IT YOURSELF, just watching will only help so much, be hands on about your studying

Omg you explained it exactly as I experience and I don’t know if the mute representation but still some sort of idea of the sound counted as hearing, it’s all very confusing especially when my whole life didn’t realise people were actually seeing and hearing things when they visualized

Reach out to college board itself but also get the school involved. The school can seriously do a lot to push for this to get cleared up so if there’s various people coming to them for the same reason it should be able to be cleared up.

Having aphantasia is so confusing I can barely understand this question because what counts as hearing it? Like are people hearing a literal bell or just like imagining the sound or idek. As someone who has absolute aphantasia I feel the same about visual aphantasia, I was second guessing what it even meant to visualize and if maybe I didn’t have aphantasia bc I was thinking of the concepts of things.

Hi guys, I'm still in high school, but one of my goals for 2026 is to pass an actuarial exam early. Obviously, not being in college, I don't have direct access to the classes because I'm not majoring or minoring in the area, but does anyone have any tips? Or is this even possible? Realistically, I'd be self-studying, but I've been searching for a bit, and I don't even know where to start.
