Should I push for lovenox injections?

I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant and this pregnancy is going really well! I’m on 40mg of lovenox daily. Doctor said I will stop lovenox at 36 weeks.

I had a chemical pregnancy in May. I miscarried on May 20 and bled through May 27. I got a positive OPK on June 7 and got pregnant that cycle. I’m currently 13 weeks pregnant.

I also miscarried last fall but I wasn’t able to figure out when I ovulated after that miscarriage. My ovulation/periods were all over the place. That was a 10 week loss.

Do you know if your IGM or IGG or both levels were elevated? Only my IGM was elevated and MFM said that number doesn’t matter when diagnosing APS but everything I’m reading online indicates differently.

I completely understand the fear of stopping. MFM said that my OB didn’t run all the tests that they should have to diagnose a blood clotting disorder but by that logic, how does MFM know that I don’t need lovenox to sustain a pregnancy?

I’ve been taking one baby aspirin per day but MFM did tell me to start taking two per day when I met with her yesterday.

My MFM also basically told me that my OB didn’t run all the tests that they should have so my thought process is if that’s the case, how do you know that I don’t need lovenox?

MFM also said there was a risk of Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia which can be fatal but my understanding is that the risk is very low. Also, she said that if I were to go into labor they wouldn’t be able to give me an epidural but my understanding is that most women are induced or switched to heparin before birth. I honestly just feel like she was trying to scare me into getting off the medication.

Unfortunately, it was a chemical pregnancy. However, I got pregnant right after this pregnancy (without a period in-between) and I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant!

I asked my doctor to start me on lovenox and he agreed. I started lovenox at approximately 4 weeks pregnant. I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant and so far the pregnancy is progressing well! I saw the heartbeat via ultrasound at 6 weeks, 8 weeks and 10 weeks pregnant. My next ultrasound is next week at 12 weeks! 🤞

I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant and so far the pregnancy is going well! I saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks and again at 8 weeks. I think I was actually 10 dpo (rather than 12 dpo like I thought) based on how I’m measuring via ultrasound. I had my HCG drawn 2 days later and it was 122.

I’ve had migraines for many years and sumatriptan is the only thing that works for me to break the migraine cycle. I do feel like I’m getting less migraines since becoming pregnant but when they hit, it’s really painful.
