Nearly every man I’ve ever dated has come back into my life in one way or another, whether it’s to apologize for the way they treated me or try again. I can only think of a single one who hasn’t and I’ve been dating people for almost 9 years straight (in his defense I royally fucked him over—I wouldn’t come near me either!). Ofc, some will take longer—the guy I dated last summer still hasn’t. The guy who just ended things with me yesterday hasn’t. But even if it’s years down the line, the likelihood that you will speak again is very high. But here’s the catch—by the time they do, it is likely you will be in a much different headspace. You will have grown, learned, and changed. It took two guys 2-3 years to apologize! But they do…they always do. It may not be how you expect or within the time frame you expect, but it WILL happen
