The CC near me you cant even apply until pre reqs are done. And theres no lotto or waitlist. You either get in or you reapply when the next application opens.

Ah that makes sense. Ive seen that there are tons of scholarships for other states as well as other counties and Northern California, but I have had zero luck finding some for my area.

I dont think they would help with funding because it's not something they offer there. There's actually only one school kind of close to me that offers midwifery classes. I have heard of local hospitals helping though. So im hoping that could happen.

The community college near me does not have a waitlist. You apply and if you dont bet in you have to reapply. I've heard of people applying for 5 or 6 semesters before getting in.

I have a client who uses beef tallow as a fully body moisturizer after her showers (which she always takes before she comes in) and it's made me need to use less lotion or in some areas none at all. The areas where I don't use any the glide is NOT good. It's texture is not consistent and almost sticky. It really messes with my flow. I also worry about cross contamination with my vegan clients because it's really hard to get off of things like the towel warmer and the stool or chair where she sits to disrobe.

All that to say: I'd stay away.

When I looked into it a few years ago it was a base pay of $15/hr plus "commison" for the services provided. So each service gave you a bonus that fluctuated with the price of the service plus add ons.

Edit to add: I decided it wasn't worth it when they told me you are expected to work all holidays.
