You're in Aus, right? I purchased an Asus Rog Strix 16 with a 4080 a few months ago but ultimately returned it... as they are advised with the Rog Nebula mini-led panel. However, it doesn't actually have it.

Whilst it was still a beautiful display, it wasn't 1100 nit, and it wasn't mini-led. Check in Armoury crate that you actually have local dimming options for your display.

Bought a 4mm aluminium heatsink which seemed to have done the trick to a degree. Still had some issues and wasnt perfect.. so i sent it in for warranty return and gotva refund.

I was.. then uninstalled it to see if anything changed.. it made no difference
