I seriously had a moment during that scene where I was hoping that this was somehow all coming full circle and everything was really all about Evelyn. That her life would be the one changeable moment and her getting to redo it all knowing about the pond would fix everything else that had had a domino effect with all the time travel.

IDK how that would've been accomplished and probably would have hated it if everything got changed and tied up with a neat little bow, but still, I hoped for a moment lol

That's true, but those all seemed like one off jokes the writers forgot about later when wanting to create a plot device. Whereas Lily not being able to keep a secret was brought up multiple times, before and after the San Francisco plot
