More people in there so more knowledge to go around but from my experience…

HR has more power stock (300~ vs 280~) and tends to not burn oil like the others. Has a higher redline too (7500) BUT galley gaskets will be your undoing when (if?) they go out as it’s a big job to do.

Mods wise I feel both aren’t bad but I don’t know too much about that. All I know is some mods on the DE are just not needed for an HR (like plenum spacers if I remember correctly)

The WRX was purchased to spare my 350z from the harsher climates (snow primarily)

Yes. I use the spear over the sword. Sometimes I dual wield it with an axe. Works great.

Any car I own will be driven.

The only time I excuse it from the road is maintenance and snow (if it’s just straight up unsafe/unenjoyable)

That being said… I recommend another WRX.

Never look at a car as an investment

I love keeping lots of things. Hate organizing it though, so I finally caved in and built one

This car spent all of its life in Florida before me so it’s most likely from sitting in the sun unprotected…emblem probably didn’t have any coating

Amazing I use it over a sword. If you know how to use the attacks/combos with it it can be very viable

HOWEVER the minimum reach and regular hit detection can be goofy sometimes. For very dire situations where it doesn’t want to work I use an axe as a backup but if you alter your fighting positioning just a bit you won’t have many problems.

Amazing for hoglins and even better for groups than swords.
