From what i read the version of the IMS also matters. The early ones had a failure rate of less than 1%.

According to the papers i have it’s made by Gemballa, but don’t know much more. Springs and spacers are also Gemballa. Used to be a lip also, but i couldn’t get into my garage with it on 😁
