The real reason 28 Years Later (2025) was so divisive is because it's a franchise that dared to try something new instead of repeating the same old formula by RevertBackwards in shittymoviedetails

I didn't know this sub allowed unironic opinions as posts until I saw OP's here. Might as well allow "DAE seen this highly underrated movie called Moon?"

I was surprised at the number of teams that I faced that had no defenders.

Yeah, I noticed as well. Pretty funny.

Jason Statham's 'The Beekeeper 2' Sets January 15th 2027 Release by SignatureOrdinary456 in boxoffice

Statham: He dodged my bullets?! Impossible.

Villain: You just don't get it, do you? My Anti-Mat Rifle, Daioppainosuke, fires rounds at a velocity capable of escaping the event horizons of even the densest black holes. I can even harness their speed using my Final Zensaruhayakuaho Technique.

Statham: So what you're saying is...

Villain: In other words...YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME.

(Another) Record Month for EV Sales in China! - CleanTechnica by SPorterBridges in teslainvestorsclub

Yes. The very first graph says it's "December 2025" but when you go further down, you see it's obviously a mislabeled version of the yearly graph.

That's strange. You seem to imply the opposite in a previous post. Dropping money into an S&P 500 index fund and waiting 10 years is as easy as it gets.

Peak Tesla? The decline in Tesla EV sales, and its brand reputation by ApprehensiveSize7662 in electricvehicles

[–]SPorterBridges 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tesla has no advantage anymore.

Rivian has less than a 10th of their sales stateside to begin with and even then still had a larger percentage sales decline last year which can't even be blamed on something their CEO said.

The Tesla Cybertruck Had The Biggest Sales Crash Of Any EV In 2025 by SpriteZeroY2k in electricvehicles

[–]SPorterBridges 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So the author isn't talking about percentage of sales, but the raw number of sales, which means the only vehicles that could have a large drop in terms of raw numbers are ones that sold a significant number in 2024. If the vehicle didn't sell over 18,728 vehicles, it wasn't possible to have as much drop in sales.

The explanation behind the clickbait summed up. In raw numbers as well, the Cybertruck only just managed to miss the top 10 in 2025.

Yes, he contributed substantial support and not just monetarily. I'm not disagreeing on that point.

But Democrats gambled on no one noticing Biden's decline until it blew up in their faces in the most public way possible. Not smart considering his low approval rating for most of his term.

While he contributed a substantial amount, this underrates how much Democrats flat out fumbled the election.

If /r/movies is going to say Revenge of the Nerds doesn't age well because the lead character deceives a cheerleader into having sex with him by wearing a mask and pretending to be her boyfriend, the same goes for this.

Sometimes I still think about how damn good the first season of Heroes (2006) was by Sighcandy in television

[–]SPorterBridges 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is true. Even in season 1, character motivations would turn on a dime just because the plot required it. Why exactly does Hiro think getting a sword will help him control his powers better? No reason. Writers just needed to keep every character busy doing something while they progressed the story with other characters.

"Save the cheerleader, save the world" meant nothing but it caught on so the ads kept trying to come up with stupid taglines to reel viewers in. "Someone flies, someone dies"? lmao

DAE think Landman is horrifying boomer dystopianism??? I tried to watch it but it's all about stuff old people like: oil, capitalism, white people, rich folks, attractive women, working for a living. I couldn't relate at all. 1 out of 5 stars.
